Budget Planning at Customer Street

One of my many tasks is to produce plans for the Customer Street division to be incorporated in the group plans for the forthcoming years. Its something that in my job we are expected to constantly revise and sharpen until we get it right. Unlike many smaller businesses we are expected to plan for three years ahead and these number and plans are then taken as what will happen and we are criticised if they don't. That's quite a task and a pressure because despite my 10 years in the internet I have seen things change so much and so quickly. There is a lot more change to come I believe.

This week we have been tied up in one of these planning sessions that has to predict the growth of the Customer Street market share over the forthcoming years and it is fascinating to see where our current plans will take us. Customer Street is growing into one of the largest internet marketing groups in the UK and Europe.
