Daily Mirror article about Ufindus.com
The story is clearly fueled by a certain person who has contacts in this "news" paper and has managed to get them to print a purely one sided account of some customers troubles. Thankfully the article does acknowledge that we have accepted that we made some mistakes in the past and are working to ensure that we never do again.
I have to say that I have no doubt that we have upset some customers in the past and this is why we have undertaken a full review of our sales and customer service departments and in addition reviewed our accounting systems and procedures. We have worked hard with Trading Standards to set new terms and conditions that are both fair to our customers and give them more than the current rights set out in law. For example Ufindus.com now has a cooling off period despite the fact that we will deliver service from day one. If our customer changes their mind for any reason during the cooling off period we will refund all their money and take a loss on the products we have already provided despite this being way above our obligation in law. Some people still perpetuate the myth that we sell products with no cooling off period.
