Ufindus Rapidsite work is well underway

Following my posting a week or so ago we are well under way with the new version Ufindus Rapidsite and rather than me posting updates on here you can read about its progress directly from the developer in charge of the project. His name is Stuart also and he is very enthusiastic about making this a market leading product that will of course be free to all Ufindus customers.

Purchase of Data Centre business

Iomart Group PLC of which Ufindus is a part, today announced that we have acquired a controlling stake in a data centre business that means we now have one of the largest carrier neutral facilities in Europe.

This type of facility is to put it simply, the kind of place where banks and many other large organisations host their on-line facilities in a secure and fireproofed environment.

In addition, being carrier neutral means that our clients can have connections from whichever telco they like.

The new data centres are based in Central London, Nottingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Leicester. This is a fantastic coup for the Iomart Group and has kept the directors very busy over the last few weeks. All Ufindus platforms will be moved to the new high performance data centres during the next calendar year.
